Williams, Susie O.

Susie O. Williams, 81, formerly of Pembroke, died Wednesday morning, September 21, 2011, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Blacksburg. Born in Spanishburg, W.Va. on June 21, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Henry Giles and Ruthie Kinzer Duncan. She was a devout Christian with a heart to work in the mission field and she gave herself fully to that work with her late husband. She was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Hurt, Clarence Belcher, and the Rev. Lowell A. Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law, Roger Lee and Margaret Bonnie Belcher, of New Oxford, Pa.; her daughters and son-in-law, Alice Fay and Roy A. Smith, of Calhoun, Tenn. and Judy Lynn Little, of Christiansburg; her brother, Mason G. Duncan, of Kopperston, W.Va.; her seven grandchildren and her 11 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted Friday morning at 10 a.m. in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. There will be no public viewing, at Susie’s special request.
