Franklin, Lakey June Cox

Lakey June Cox Franklin, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at her home in Radford. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Bill Franklin, of Radford; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jerry Farmer, of Radford; sons and daughters-in-law, William D. Jr. and Dreama Franklin, of Radford and Barry and Deanna Franklin, of Covington, Ga.; sisters, Alma Neece, of Radford and Clestie Adams, of Dublin; and eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 22, 2011, at 7 p.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Jerry Gibson and the Rev. Tom Franklin officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Pentecostal Conference Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of the service Thursday evening.
