Spence, Shirley B.

Shirley B. Spence, 74, formerly of Radford, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011, in Glen Burnie, Md. Shirley and her husband, Charles, had just celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in April and have lived in Maryland for the past 50 years. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles B. Spence Sr.; sons, Charles B. Spence Jr. and Ricky Spence; daughter, Brenda Wilkinson; brother, James Boyd; sister, Pauline Boyd Lazarek; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 28, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m. at DeVilbiss Funeral Home in Radford. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 29, 2011, at DeVilbiss Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dallas Vines officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
