Pagan, Jr., Homer (Jimmy) Dewey
Homer (Jimmy) Dewey Pagan, Jr., 84, of the Robinson Tract Community of Pulaski, died Saturday August 13, 2011 in Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on February 11, 1927 and was the son of the late Ruby Pagan and Homer Dewey Pagan Sr. He was a member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Radford Army Ammunition Plant. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II and had a love for farming. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Loree Johnson Pagan and a daughter, Lisa Loree Pagan, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alfred and Emma South Johnson, sisters-in-law, Dorothy Dogan, Doris Sisk and Betty Davison, and brother-in-law, Albert J. Johnson. He is survived by three sons, David W. Pagan and his wife, Joani, of Sanford, N.C., Joseph A. Pagan and his wife, Starr, of Pulaski and Terry A. Pagan and his fiancée, Laura Hale, of Pulaski; brother, James Douglas Pagan and his wife, Ovida, of Pulaski. He is also survived by three very special grandchildren, Jesse Pagan, Erica Pagan and Joshua Pickett; a special niece and nephew. Vicki Trail and her husband, Ricky, of Pulaski, and Landis Stoots and his wife, Cindy, of Colonial Hts. ; also brothers-in-law, Harold Dogan, of Roanoke, Joseph Davison, of Salem and Arthur (Buddy) Johnson and his wife, Audrey, of DeMotte, Ind.; along with many nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Seagle Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Pagan Family Cemetery on Robinson Tract.
