Sarver, Tommy Cecil

Tommy Cecil Sarver, 74, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2011, at Lewis Gale Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg, Va. He was born in Bastian, Va., and was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Sarver Smith; and his stepfather, Abb Smith. Tommy was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by his brother, John Smith, of Bland, Va.; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Randy Heidt, of Dublin, Va.; niece, Karen Heidt, of Vinton, Va.; and nephew, Chris and Trisha Heidt, of Radford, Va. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2011, at Highland Bland Chapel with Pastor Paul Looney officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Bastian, Va. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 10 a.m. until service time.
