Quesinberry, Merlin Wise

Merlin Wise Quesinberry, 95, of Dublin, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at his home. Born October 10, 1915 in Carroll County, he was the son of the late John H. Quesinberry and Ada Gardner Quesinberry. His wife of 63 years, Claudia Marie McGrady Quesinberry and a number of brothers and sisters also preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II in the European Theatre with the 8th Infantry Division. He was retired from RAAP with over 30 years of service. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Lindsey and Nancy Quesinberry of Tucson, Ariz.; special niece and husband, Judy and Wayne Spraker of Pulaski; nephews, Grady Jenkins, and Tim and Gary McGrady; nieces, Connie Maxwell and Becky Smith. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2 p.m., July 12, 2011 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. David Hoover officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of service at Bower Funeral Home.
