Hahn, Alberta May Zimmerman

Alberta May Hahn, 99, of Christiansburg, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011 at Wheatland Hills Nursing Home in Radford. She was retired from Goodyear Tire and was a member of Edgemont Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edwin Zimmerman, Thomas Allen and Morris Hahn; and a son, Herbert Zimmerman. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Sara Zimmerman, of Dublin, Va.; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and James McGrath, of Ocala, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Sally Zimmerman, of Christiansburg, Va.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Wheatland Hills and Carilion Hospice. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m.until the time of the service.
