Hubbard, Carol Bugg

Carol Bugg Hubbard, 66, of Christiansburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 9, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Abraham and Kate Bugg. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Frank (Junior) Hubbard; daughter, Kim (Kimber) Trump; granddaughters, Katie and Ellie Trump; daughter, Karen LaPlante; son-in-law, Steve LaPlante; and granddaughter, Ainsley LaPlante. She is also survived by one brother, Stanley (Butch) Bugg and sister-in-law Rita Bugg; along with many beloved nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Good Samaritan Hospice and Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 11, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be held at the Open Door Baptist Church in Christiansburg on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at 2 p.m., with Pastor Mike Johnson and Preacher Tom Turner officiating.
