Cupp, Michael Randolph

Michael Randolph Cupp, 63, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011. He was born in Blacksburg on October 25, 1947. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen “Bunny” Cupp, father, Harry E. Cupp, two brothers, Tommy and Donald Cupp. He is survived by his mother, Catherine Cupp; children, Cindy and her husband Billy Slusher, Michael Wayne Cupp and significant other Roger Roberts, David E. Cupp and wife Tammy, Sumar Ranae Trae Cupp, Sarah Mechelle Cupp, and niece, Jodi Boland; his grandchildren, Michael Slusher, Randy Cupp, Mandy Slusher, Stephine Slusher; and one great grandson, J.J. Slusher; sisters and brothers, Peggy, Ronald, Patsy, Judy, Diane, Roger, Cathy, Tony; many nieces and nephews and other family; also his best friend, Rocky. He was employed by Kirby Vass Insulation for the last 20 years, and we would like to give them special thanks for everything they have done and continue to do for him and his family over the years. The family would also like to thank the Boland family for all their love and support. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 5:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Angle officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to McCoy Funeral Home to help with expenses. The family will receive friends following the service at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church, 1742 Walton Road, Christiansburg, 24073. He will be greatly loved and missed forever.
