Henderson, William Walter

William Walter Henderson, 78, of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. He was born on April 15, 1933, in Greenville County, S.C. He was preceded in death by his children, Charles Steven Henderson and Mary Regina Smith. He was the son of the late Floyd S. and Emma Dial Henderson. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Creasy Henderson; children, William Lee Henderson, Ronald Wayne Henderson, and Tracy Loretta Henderson Swann and husband, Bart; and stepdaughters, Wanda Jones Basham and Brenda G. Jones. He is also survived by many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 2, 2011, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Peters officiating.
