Wilcoxson, Geraldine Eaves
Geraldine Eaves Wilcoxson, 79 of Pearisburg, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday April 27, 2020. Geraldine was born on November 16, 1940 in Maybeury, WV and was a daughter of the late John Mark Eaves and Pauline Mitchell Eaves. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Eaves, Artie Eaves and Douglas Eaves.
Geraldine was a member of the Pembroke First Baptist Church, and a retired employee of the Celanese Corp. in Narrows.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald Wilcoxson of Pearisburg, one son, Julius Lee Eaves of Pulaski, four daughters, Emma D. Eaves of Myrtle Beach, SC, Donna M. Wilcoxson of Charlotte, NC, Wendella Faye Wilcoxson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Lettie Nichole (Nicky) Wilcoxson of Pearisburg, three sisters, Gertrude Meadows of Richmond, Sonia Marie Eaves of Radford, Pauline V. Brooks of Pulaski, one brother, Charles Eaves of Pembroke, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 1, 2020 at 11am at the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with Pastor James Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends at Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg, Thursday evening from 6 – 8 pm. We will be observing the Covid-19 restrictions with ten people visiting at a time.

Even though I knew Mrs. Geraldine and Family for a short time now (through my boyfriend James Donathan). Their outgoing personalities and Godly Friendships will carry on in my Life Forever. Our last breath on this earth is our first breath in Heaven. Geraldine you have earned your Angel Wings….. Fly Hi !!!’. We will meet again one day again in Heaven.

We are so sorry for your loss, Geraldine was an amazing person. She always was quick with a smile, she wouldn’t take you feeling sorry for yourself. She’d always point out the reasons why you should look at your blessings.
She was like a ray of sunshine.
She’s where she’s always looked forward to go. Heavens gain is our loss, but we’ll see her again.
