Bouldin, William Lee

William Lee Bouldin, 64, of Narrows, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at the VA Medical Center in Salem. He was born in Peterstown on April 18, 1947, and was the son of the late Harvey Lee Bouldin Jr. and Kathleen Murrell Bouldin. A 1965 graduate of Narrows High School, he served three tours of duty during the Vietnam War as part of a 20-year career with the United States Air Force. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Diane Bouldin, of Roanoke; two children, William Lee Bouldin Jr., of Fort Worth, Texas, and Sonya Lanece Bouldin, of Euless, Texas; and a very special longtime friend, Suzette J. Blankenship. At Mr. Bouldin’s request, he was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, in the chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows.
