Kessinger, James Nelson

James Nelson Kessinger, 48, of Goldbond, died Thursday, May 12, 2011. He was born in Pearisburg on May 23, 1962, a son of James Ronnie “Runt” Kessinger and the late Lillie Mae Farley Kessinger of Interior. He had been employed in the building construction trades. He is survived by his father, James Ronnie “Runt” Kessinger; his sister and brother-in-law, Terry and David Martin, of Interior; his daughter, Brooke Cornett, of Wytheville; and his special friend and companion, Patsy Thompson, of Goldbond. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow Street, Pembroke on Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the Kessinger Family Cemetery at Interior.
