Dunigan, William Clyde (Butch)

William Clyde (Butch) Dunigan, 54, of Pearisburg, departed this life on Thursday evening, May 12, 2011, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born in Pearisburg on June 15, 1956, he was a son of the late Clifford and Bertha Stowers Dunigan. Butch was a Christian of the Baptist Faith a graduate of New River Community College, and had been employed at Hardee’s and Pizza Hut in Pearisburg. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Betty Jean Snider. He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Linda D. Rhodes, of Pearisburg; his nieces and nephews, Regina Harless, Blake Hammons, and Donnie Rhodes; his great-niece and nephew, Kaitlynn Harless and Ethan Harless; his uncle, Freddie Dunagan; and his cousins, Audrey Brill and Kim Weatherly. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011, in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until 2 p.m. before the services.
