Whited, Virginia Love Hubbard

Virginia Love Hubbard Whited, 81, of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011. She was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church. She was born on May 15, 1929, in Swords Creek and was the daughter of the late Arnold Dickerson and Magnora Miller Hubbard. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 57 years, Carl William Whited. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry William and Mary Ann Whited, of Radford, and Daniel Wayne and Diane Whited, of Pulaski; two daughters, Cathy Turpin and Ms. Teresa Whited, both of Dublin; three brothers, James, Billy and Jerry Hubbard, all of Shelby, Ohio; five sisters, Mary Alice Brewer, of Bean Station, Tenn., Sadie Mae Street, of Belair, Md., Anna Marcolina, of Pennsylvania, Betty Shepherd, of Honaker, and Myrtle Rose Myers, of Hepron, Md.; 13 grandchildren; and 18 greatgrandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Darlene Marshall officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, May 13, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011, at Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill. The Whited family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Service.
