Hanks, Ruby Geneva Winesett

Ruby Geneva Winesett Hanks, 85, of Pulaski, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, in the LewisGale Pulaski Hospital. She was born in Carroll County on December 13, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Jason Winesett and Sally Lawson Winesett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John Lewis Hanks. Mrs. Hanks was a retired employee of Bond Cote Corporation and a member of the Bob White Blvd. Church of God. Surviving are daughters and son-in-law, Debra H. and Bill Southern; Karen H. Folino; sisters, Rhee Saunders, Adelene Newman, Levella Nester; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29, 2011, at 7 p.m. from the Bob White Blvd. Church of God with the Rev. Jerry Collins and the Rev. Mike Honaker officiating. Visiting will be Friday evening at the church where the family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Entombment will be Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 11 a.m. from Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin.
