Gray, Dorothy Mitchell

Dorothy Mitchell Gray, age 89 of Pulaski passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 in the Lewis Gale Hospital-Pulaski. Born July 11, 1921 in Pulaski , she was the daughter of the late James Franklin Mitchell, and Nannie Ellen Sutphin Mitchell Duncan.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grayson Andrew Gray; Son, Elgene Gray; Sister, Margaret Elizabeth Mitchell, and two brothers, Junior Mitchell and Henry Lee Mitchell.

She was a 60 year member of the Pulaski Church of God. She retired from Jefferson Mills with 37 years of service.

She is survived by-

One Daughter & Son-in-law- Shirley & Harold Stout-Pulaski.

2 Grandchildren- Timothy Stout & wife, Charlene Stout-Mobile, AL., Laina Mitchell & husband, Darrell Mitchell –Pulaski

4 Great Grandchildren- Andrew Stout, Montgomery ,AL Anna Stout, Mobile, AL Travis Mitchell & wife, Rena Mitchell-Pulaski. Trevor Mitchell-Pulaski.

2 Great, Great Grandchildren- Ariana Mitchell & Braelyn Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 7:00 p.m. at the Refreshing Center/Pulaski Church of God ,Bob White Blvd. with Bishop Jerry Collins officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. prior to service time at the church.

Interment will be held Friday 11:00 A.M. at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the Mitchell family.
