Haynes, Peggy Hutton

Peggy Hutton Haynes, 73, of Fairlawn, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Radford Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Wythe County, Va., on December 21, 1937, to the late James R. and Nettie Jane Caviness Hutton and was also preceded in death by a step daughter, Christina D. Haynes Turpin. Peggy retired from Hercules, Inc. in 1992 with 15 years of service. She is survived by her husband, James R. Haynes, of Fairlawn; two sons and daughtersin-law, Jim H. Jr. and Nancy Guynn, of Salem, and Dwayne T. Guynn, of Buchanan; one stepson and stepdaughterin-law, Joey D. and Theresa Haynes, of Fairlawn; one sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Larry Pugh, of Floyd; eight grandchildren, special grandson, Hunter Haynes, David Guynn, Beckey Guynn, Katie Guynn, Shawn Turpin, Dawn Orgetas, Stacy Stull, and Derek Turpin; six great-grandchildren; and one niece, Robin Tate, of Blacksburg. Funeral Services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011, in the Fairlawn Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening, March 17, 2011, at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg, Va., 540-552-3211.
