Songer, Fannie Mae

Fannie Mae Songer, 72 of Staffordsville, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at her home. Fannie was born on June 19, 1948 in Giles County to the late Henry Tabor and Margaret Frye Tabor Dalton. Along with her parents Fannie is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Dalton and Terry Dalton.

Fannie is survived by her husband, Bobby Songer of the home, her children, Robert Songer and wife, Diann of Pearisburg, Barry Songer and wife, Sandra of Pulaski, her grandchildren, Matthew Songer, Samuel Songer, Skyler Clark, Braxton Clark and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Flo Hetherington of Dublin, Loretta McKillip and husband Mike of WI, Charles Dalton of Staffordsville, and Daniel Dalton of NC.

There will be a Graveside Service on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Birchlawn Burial Park Abbey in Pearisburg with Pastor Charles Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 5 – 7 P.M. at Kendall Funeral Home.
