Lane, Stella Duncan

Stella Duncan Lane, 76, of Pulaski, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 in the Lewis Gale, Pulaski Hospital surrounded by her family. Born March 14, 1934 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Thomas Duncan and Ollie Bell Cooper Duncan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jason Lane; one sister, Doris Southern; and two brothers, Bill Duncan and Gray Riggins. Surviving are daughters, Connie Faye Lane of Woodlawn, Kathy Parker and husband, Frank of Mt. Airy, N.C., Phyllis Stanley and husband, J.B. of Dublin; sons, Scottie Lane and fiance, Lisa Reynolds of Pulaski, Charles Thomas Lane and wife, Sandra of Radford, David Lane and fiance, Susan King of Max Meadows; 11 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; and one greatgreat-grandchild; sister, Daisy Riggins of Pulaski; special friend, Ed Ferby of W.Va. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski. Interment will follow in Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski County.
