Wyms, Lillian Morton

Evangelist Lillian R. Morton Wyms, age 63, of Radford began her new life with her eternal father Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at her home. She was born in Radford on May 24, 1947 to the late Christine Carter and James I. Morton. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Al Thomas Morton and Julian (Peedie) Morton. She along with her husband was co-pastor of Liberty Full Gospel Fellowship Church. Celebrating her life is her loving husband of almost 40 years, Pastor Jerry E. Wyms; one son, Michael E. Wyms (Tryphena); two daughters, Michelle E. Wyms, and Miriam L. Wyms; granddaughters, Byronae, Nesa, Jada, Olivia, Emily, and Rachel; five brothers, Arthur (Connie), James (Lynda), Joseph “Randy”, David (Lillie), Prince Edward (Zetta) Morton; sisters-in-law, Georgia Anthony, Bonnie Alexander, and Sandra Wyms; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Special thanks to Carilion Hospice Nurses of Radford, Va. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Fairlawn Church of God with Rev. Dr. Charles Charlton officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Full Gospel Fellowship Church, 86 Lee Street, Radford, Va. 24141.
