Hundley, Ila Mabel
Ila Mabel Hundley, 93, of Blacksburg, Va., died peacefully on Monday, January 31, 2011, after a lengthy illness. She is preceded in death by her husband, Homer C. Hundley, of Blacksburg; her sister, Cletis Sutphin; and brother, Carl Quesenberry, both of Floyd. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Charles Lee, of Fairlawn; grandchildren, Vera Wright and husband, Eddie Wright, of Fairlawn, Vickie Albert and husband, Dean Albert, of Christiansburg, and Dale Lawson, of Alexandria; her sister, Annalee Simmons and husband, GR, of Goodview; five great-grandchildren; seven great-greatgrandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Diane and David Yopp, and Pat and Hoyt Parris; and special friend and caregiver, Brenda Lee. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Radford Nursing and Rehabilitation for the many years of special care given to Ila. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Horne Funeral Home, 1300 N. Franklin St., Christiansburg. The Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2011, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Layne and Donnie Board officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin. The Hundley family is being served by Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
