Martin, Robin Lynn

Robin Lynn Martin, age 61 of Pulaski passed away Sunday morning July 7, 2019 at home. She was born October 8, 1957 in Pearisburg and grew up in Narrows. She was the daughter of Thomas Martin and the late Jean Robertson Walkup. Her brother, Donald Whittaker and dear friend and ex-husband, Lawrence Thomas also preceded her in death.

Grandson: Hayden Myers

Tina, Venus, Jeanie, Winky and Peanut

Sisters: Patricia “Pat” (Ted) Neely – Dublin; Anna (Richard) Slate – Dublin

Brothers: Tony (Brenda) Martin – Narrows; John (Michelle) Walkup – Narrows; Lawrence Walkup – Snowshoe, WV

She was dearly loved by her nieces and nephews: Erica, Shala, Mark, Rachel, Jordan, Jason, Amiah, Nakenzi, Myracle and Jackson

Robin fought colon cancer for five years with a strength that was amazing. For over 20 years, she was employed by Volvo Trucks where she had many friends. Robin liked nothing better than to ride her motorcycle and drink a cold beer. She was an animal lover who loved being outdoors.

The family will have a visitation between 5:00 – 7:00 PM – Wednesday-July 10, 2019 at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski. Bower Funeral Homes, Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the family.
