McCoy, Homer Earl

amem_blueridge.jpgHomer Earl McCoy of Belspring, age 74, died Sunday, May 6, 1984, in Radford Community Hospital.

Surviving are his wife. Evelyn Ford McCoy of Belspring; one son. Kenneth McCoy of Fairfield, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs Al (Joann) Behling of Goshen, Ind., Mrs Ronnie (Daisy) Flinchum af Belspring. Mrs. Patrick (June) Stephens of Riverside, Ga.; four sisters. Mrs. Wilson Slusher of Little Rock. Ark. Mrs. Ray Wilson, Mrs. Harold Bruce and Mrs. Hilda Nicewander, all of Belspring; five brothers, Hubert McCoy, Hensel McCoy and Garnett McCoy, all of Belspring. Harry McCoy of Radford and Eugene McCoy of Winston-Salem, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Parrott United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Smeltzer officiating. Interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery. The body was taken to the residence at 7 p.m. Monday. Virginia May Lodge No. 38 A.F. & A.M. will conduct Masonic graveside services. DeVilbiss Funeral Home of Radford is in charge of arrangements.
