PENNINGTON, Glenn Thomas

Glenn Thomas “Penny” Pennington, 81, of Dublin died, Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at his home. He was born in Dublin on April 4, 1925 to the late Elias and Nannie Largen Pennington.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gracie Cox Pennington, and a son, Glenn Thomas Pennington, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Lois K. Pennington, Dublin; four sons, Douglas Pennington, Bumpass, Va; Dickie Pennington, Pulaski, Larry Pennington and Gilbert Pennington, both of Dublin, Va.; a sister, Elizabeth Anderson, Ga.; two brothers, Ray Pennington, Barren Springs, Va., and Homer Pennington, Ohio; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Memorial graveside services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m. in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin with Rev. Bill Rowland officiating. Friends may call anytime at the home. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
