Ratcliffe, Marie Antionette

Marie Antionette Ratcliffe, 54, of Radford, Va., departed this life on Monday, November 1, 2010, at her home after a long illness, in the care of her devoted family. Born in Giles County on February 27, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Hazel Fisher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dale Ratcliffe. She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law, Berley Ralph Dalton Jr. and Susie Dalton, of Christiansburg; her daughters and son-in-law, Tammy and Sherman Stumbo, of Snowville, and Mary Jane Dalton, of Radford; her 11 grandchildren; her one greatgrandchild; her brothers, Danny Gene Fisher, of Bland, and Robert Lewis Whittaker Sr., of Pearisburg; her stepson, Shawn Ratcliffe, of Buena Vista; her stepdaughters, Kimberly Ratcliffe, of Ocala, Fla., and Crystal Ratcliffe, of Pembroke; and her special companions, “Granny Annie” and “Princess,” her dogs. Funeral Services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2010, in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in the Anderson Cemetery on Guinea Mountain.
