Trueheart, Garland

Mr. Garland Watson Trueheart, 76, of Pulaski, Va., passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Lewis Gale Medical Center after a short illness. He was born March 27, 1934, in Draper, Va., to the late Irvin Watson and Eva Pauline Hall Trueheart. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Thomas and Billy Trueheart. Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife of 47 years, Josephine Trueheart; one stepson, Milton T. Eddie (Carolyn), of Pulaski; sister, Eva D. Trueheart, of Draper, Va.; two brothers, George (Channie) Trueheart, of Pulaski, and Joseph L. Trueheart, of Draper; a devoted cousin, Agnes Flynn, of Pulaski; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. on November 3, 2010, at Randolph Avenue United Methodist Church with the Rev. Leroy Henry officiating. Interment will be held in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Friends may call at Serenity on Tuesday from noon to 8 p.m. for viewing and Wednesday, beginning at noon until the funeral hour at the church.
