Estes, Patricia Lou Linkous

Patricia Lou Linkous Estes, 64, of Blacksburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 7, 2006, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Christiansburg, Va. on June 7, 1942 to the late Ellis Wade and Minnie Lou Effinger Linkous.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Estes, of Blacksburg; daughter and son-in-law, Gayle Estes-Elkins and husband, Rick Elkins of Riner; son and daughter-in-law, Mark Estes and wife, Cassandra Moore Estes of Pulaski County; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mazie Adams of Christiansburg, Janice Linkous of Blacksburg, Lottie Sult and husband, Paul Sult of Blacksburg, Melissa Linkous and husband, Jerry Linkous of Blacksburg; brothers-in-law, Billy Joe Estes and wife, Jody Red of Riner, Michael Estes and wife, Loretta Estes; sister-in-law, Linda Brown and husband Andy Brown; aunt, Lottie Palmore of Powhatan, Va.; nephews, Robert Linkous and Randal Linkous, both of Blacksburg, and Richard Adams; niece, Jill Sult-Saul and husband Chris of Riner; numerous cousins and other family members and special friends.

Memorial services will be conducted Monday, September 11, 2006 at 2p.m. in the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jerry Sloss officiating. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, Blacksburg.
