Belcher, Carl Issac

Carl Issac Belcher, 80, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018. He was born on September 29, 1937 to Luther and Louana Belcher. He is preceded in death by both parents; sister, Sylvia Epperly; bother, J. B. Belcher; and son-in-law, Ricky Boyd.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Geneva Wood Belcher; daughter, Alicia Boyd; sons and wives, Alan & Lisa Belcher and David & Lee Ann Belcher; sister, Juanita Moore; six grandchildren, Amy and Arthur Boyd, Lori Phillips, and Malory, Isaac and Brenna Belcher; three great-grandchildren, Aiden Boyd, and Jonathan and Emily Phillips; a niece and five nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Maberry Funeral Home in Floyd, VA. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Slate Mountain Presbyterian Church conducted by Pastor Jeff Dalton with interment in the church cemetery.

Carl loved his church, his family, bluegrass music, beagles, and horses.
