Woolwine, Joyce Ann Scaggs

Joyce Ann Scaggs Woolwine, 64, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019.

She was retired from the Blacksburg Police Department, a licensed nurse for 40 years and spent her whole life taking care of everyone else.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Catherine Scaggs; and her sister, Donna Davis.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Lee Woolwine; son, William Woolwine and his wife Kelsey of Radford; daughters, Shayla Burkhead and her husband John Eric of Columbia, S.C., Emily Bishop of Richmond, and Catie Woolwine and significant other Isaiah Phillips of Radford; grandchildren, Gage, Carson and Kendric; brother, Leo Scaggs; mother-in-law, Peggy Woolwine; beloved dog, Bay-Lee; and many other relatives and friends.
