Woodyard, Denny

Denny Woodyard of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and formerly of Christiansburg, Va., passed away Friday, January 4, 2019. Denny is preceded in death by his mother, Violet White Woodyard and his father, John Woodyard. He is survived by his twin sons, Andrew (wife, Jackie), Matthew (fiancee, Kelly); and a brother, Gary (wife, Sue).

Denny was born and raised in Pearisburg, Va. He attended, and graduated from Virginia Tech, and was an avid Hokie fan. He lived, and was a local businessman, in Christiansburg for several years. Denny was passionately drawn to the beach and moved to Myrtle Beach in 2013. He enjoyed every moment that he got to live there! Denny will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Denny at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Custom Catering, 902 Patrick Henry Drive, Blacksburg, VA 24060.
