Sowers, Cathy Gwynn

Cathy Gwynn Sowers, 56, left this life to rest in the arms of her Savior on November 28, 2018, surrounded by the family she loved and cherished.

Born in Portsmouth, OH, to George Seigle Carver and Connie D. Lewis Carver Price. She was preceded in death by her father, George Carver; son, Kristopher McFalls; and grandson, Tucker McFalls.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Dennis Sowers; daughter, Amanda Sowers; son, Lucas McFalls; step-daughters, Amelia Stevens and Erin Sowers; grandchildren, Terra McFalls, Daylynn Meade, Brayden McFalls, McKenna Brown; great-grandson, Colsen Tice; mother, Connie Price; sister, Shelly Lynch (David); as well as nieces, nephews, and many treasured friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 1, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Buford Linkous. Interment will follow in Den Hill Cemetery.
