William Pope Jr., 88, of Radford, Va., passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018. Per his request, he was entered into the Virginia Anatomical Donation Program. The family wishes to recognize Radford Health and Rehab. Center and Good Samaritan Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.

I just wanted to extend my deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Pope. I personally met this fine gentleman while working and he left a positive impact on me and my entire family. In my extensive experience with the public I can honestly say that I’ve never met a more compassionate, caring and genuine person in this world. I am a better person for knowing him and his presence will be truly missed. His warm smile and gentle voice will always be remembered and my prayers are with the family during this very difficult time. God Bless and keep you during this heartbreaking time but I know that you will meet again. “73’s”
