Harmon, Arvil Lee

Arvil Lee Harmon, 72, of Willis, was called home to be with his heavenly father, Thursday, August 17, 2006 while surrounded by his loving family. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Shona Lee and Jerry Helms, Stuart, Va.; brother and sister-in-law, Carlton and Janice Harmon, Willis, Va.; grandchildren, Rocky Helms and wife Amy, Stuart, Va., Summer Pike and husband Scott, Stuart, Va., Dawn Quesinberry and husband Lee, Meadows of Dan, Va.; great-grandchildren, Bridgette and Dakota Helms, Brooke, Blake and Bryley Pike, Hanna, Cody and Brandy Quesinberry; nephew, Rick Harmon, Roanoke, Va.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. John Franklin and the Rev. Marcus Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at both his brother Carlton’s house and his daughter Shona’s.
