Fuller, Emma Harrell
Emma Gertrude Harrell Fuller, 89 of Pulaski, Va., formerly of Pearisburg, Va. went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 17, 1929 in Wabash, Va. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Ballard Harrell and Quennie Shinault.
She retired from Celanese with 43 years of service. Emma was also a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church of Pearisburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Byron Cecil Fuller; daughter, Deborah Fuller Sanders; three brothers and eight sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Fuller Akers and son-in-law, Rocky of Pulaski; two grandchildren, Willy L Sanders and wife, Tammy of Pearisburg, and Whitney Akers Lafon and husband, Jason of Pulaski; five great-grandchildren, Sarina Lipes and husband, Brad, Breanna Sanders, Roxy, Gavin, and Evan Lafon; and soon to be great-great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Lipes; also, several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with Pastor Kathy Higgs officiating. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, September 7, 2018 at Givens Funeral Home in Pearisburg.
