Linkous, Ross Gene

Ross Gene Linkous, age 76, of Christiansburg died, Thursday, August 23, 2018, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Montgomery County, Va. on December 18, 1941 to the late Lee W. and Louise Rush Linkous.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Hawks Linkous, children, Ross Linkous Jr. and wife, Connie, Sue Eanes and husband, Richard, Carl Linkous, Vicky Linkous, Rodney Linkous and wife, Deana, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Everett Shepherd, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, August 27, 2018 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sebert Rorrer officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Sunday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
