Poole, Roberta Bishop

Roberta Bishop Poole, 67, of Christiansburg, Va., died on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. The daughter to the late Oakie Thomas Bishop, she is survived by her mother; Wilma Palmer Bishop, daughter and son-in-law, Carmen Poole Hammack and Phillip V. Hammack, all of Christiansburg; son and daughter-in-law, Carson T. and Sylvia Poole; and grandsons, Tristan Poole, Jacob Simmons, and Jeremiah Simmons, all of Radford. She is also survived by her brother, Mark T. Bishop and special friend, Carolyn Ruble, of Christiansburg.

The family will receive friends at the Horne Funeral Home on Friday, July 9, 2010, from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be a funeral service held 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2010, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel. A Graveside Service will be held 3 p.m. on Monday, July 12, 2010, in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
