Sadler, Charles Henry

Charles Henry Sadler, 88, of Pulaski, departed this life Thursday morning, June 28, 2018 in the care of Skyline Rehab Center in Floyd. Born at Green Hill in Giles County on March 15, 1930, he was a son of the late Bittle K, Sr and Lula Mae Harris Sadler.

He had been employed at the furniture factories in Pulaski and attended Frences Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Walter Lewis, John Randolph, Bascum and Bittle K Jr Sadler and his sister Georgia Lillian Stephens.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 60 years Fredia Wilson Sadler; his daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Sue and Charlie Sawyers of Wytheville, Vanessa and Frederick Jones of Shawsville, Melissa and Ronnie Honaker of Copper Hill; his son and daughter-in-law Ronald Jack and Debra Renee Wilson of Fincastle; his sisters Josephine Johnston of Pembroke, Rhoda Stephens of Ripplemead, Alice Hamblin and husband RB of Pembroke; his 12 grandchildren and his 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 2, 2018, at 2:00 pm in The Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St., Pembroke, with The Rev Vinton Quesenberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Sadler Family Cemetery at Poplar Hill. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the services.
