Michael Jason Johnston, 35, of Pembroke, departed this life Tuesday morning, June 5, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. He was born in Montgomery County on Dec 6, 1982, was a graduate of Giles High School Class of 2001, was a welder by trade, and so enjoyed his fishing and hunting time.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father and mother Michael Lee and Diane Huffman Johnston of Pembroke; his fiancée Samantha Jean Ratcliff; his sons Devin Lee Hale of Pembroke and Michael Taylor Ratcliff of Pembroke; his paternal grandmother Lizzie Grey Johnston of Pembroke; his maternal grandmother Druscilla W. Huffman of Pembroke and his many good friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. Michael as we all new as jason was a good friend to all that knew him i know he loved to fish and hunt as many of us do in giles county he would allways talk to you no matter where he seen you at he wil be missed by all who knew him prayers going up for your faimly
