Bradbury, Edna Doris Epperly

Edna Doris Epperly Bradbury, 85, of Blacksburg, Va., passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010. She was a member of the North Fork Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oakley and Clara Epperly; husband, John Bradbury; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Ollie Epperly; son, Richard Bradbury. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Epperly; children, Louise Holliday, Wesley and Linda Bradbury, Bill and Tean Bradbury, Doris and Richard Monday, Wayne and Alice Bradbury, Robert and Rita Bradbury, Nancy Caldwell; daughter-in-law, Joan Bradbury; niece, Phyllis Epperly (Steve) Huff; 24 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many others who called her “Granny”. The family would also like to send out a special thanks to Dr. Osimani, Dr. Jordan, nurses in Montgomery Regional Hospital ICU and 2nd floor. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010, at the Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010, at the North Fork Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the North Fork Cemetery, Ellett, Va. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blacksburg Rescue Squad, 200 Progress St., Blacksburg, Va. 24060.
