Berry, James Wesley

James Wesley Berry, age 63, of Blacksburg died, Thursday, February 15, 2018, at his home. He was born in Pearisburg, VA on March 24, 1954 to the late Claude Berry and Emogene Morris Boothe. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Berry.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Plaugher; step-father, Cecil Boothe; daughter, Amy Jo Plaugher; sons, Josh Berry (Christy), Travis Plaugher (Erin); sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia Hagy, Karen Mullins (Randy), Lois Mullins (Eddie); brother and sister-in-law, Bill Berry (Debbie); grandchildren, Hayden, Gaige, Conner, Ashley, and Jenna; special friends, Shirley Raines, Nancy Caldwell, Sarah Cline, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be conducted Monday, February 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Johnston officiating. Special thanks to the Medi Home Hospice team. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
