Lovitt, Barbara Kromer

Barbara Lynn Kromer Lovitt, 90 of Blacksburg, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her great-grandsons, Joshua Cantrell and Stephan Benjamin Schifferly; two brothers and three sisters; as well as her former husband, Louie Edgar Lovitt.

She is survived by her sons & daughters, Louie Scott Lovitt (Isabel); Stephen Dale Lovitt (Bonnie); Susan Lovitt Keith (Larry); Saundra Lovitt Pratt (Joel); Sara Lovitt Woolson (Robert Wade). She is also survived by one sister, Suzanne Kromer Zentmeyer of Colorado; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

An avid reader and gardener, Barbara loved her family above all else. She traveled abroad, moving her family with her through the many years of military service of her late husband. She saw goodness in all who knew and loved her.

The family will hold visitation on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Maberry Funeral Home with a Celebration of her Life Service at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Hudgins officiating.
