Cole, Carl Davis

Carl Davis Cole, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at his home in Lindside, WV. Born March 24, 1941, in Giles County, VA, he was the son of the late Henry and Elsie Lafon Cole.

Carl was a member of the Lindside United Methodist Church. He was employed by Celanese, where he worked in the boiler house. Carl loved driving his ‘55 Chevy and spending time at his cabin on Peters Mountain.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret “Trigger” Cole; two brothers, Ralph and Curtis Cole; and one sister, Violet Lively. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Jeff Cole and wife Debbie of Narrows, VA; and one grandson, Jordan Cole of GA.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Carl will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at the Lindside United Methodist Church in Lindside, WV, with Pastor Bob Mann officiating.
