Ruth Eileen Cox, age 68, of Blacksburg died, Monday, August 7, 2017, at her home. She was born in Sarasota, FL on August 19, 1948. She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Ball. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Cox; daughter, Becca Rathburn-Kennedy and husband Jacob; son, Clay Rathburn; stepson, Curtis Cox, Jr. and wife, Michelle; mother, Yvonne (Billy) Ball; three grandchildren, Hannah Cox, Bryce Cox, and Maeve Kennedy; sister, Kathleen Reno; three brothers, Mike Ball and wife, Flo, Pat Ball and wife, Judy, Charlie Ball and wife, Nana. Funeral services are pending with McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
