Hoback, Toby Ann

Toby Ann Hoback, 66, of Blacksburg, Va., died on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Heritage Hall Health Care Center. She was born in Christiansburg, Va., on March 19, 1943, to the late James Thomas Sr. and Helen Harris Shaver. She is survived by a daughter, Angela Gray, of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Caitlin Gray, of Christiansburg, and Amanda Cook and her daughter, Isabella, of Giles; brother and sister-in-law, James and Janet Shaver, Summerville, S.C.; cousins, Jean Thompson, Dewayne Gilmore, Gratton and Cora Thompson, Boyd and Leona Thompson, all of Christiansburg, and Doug and Mary Thompson, of Radford; and special friends, Ann Parrott Carroll and her daughter, Betina McGuire. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2010, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Buck Yopp officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday evening, March 6, 2010, at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg, Va.
