Cromer, Christopher L.
Christopher L. Cromer, 39, of Pawleys Island, died Saturday, July 8, 2006 at MUSC after a courageous and difficult bone marrow transplant in April 2006. Born on June 27, 1967 in Radford, Va., he is the son of Donna and Steve Guilliams and the late Ronald L. Cromer.
Christopher was a graduate of University of South Carolina, majoring in interdisciplinary studies and had a Master’s in photography. Chris has been a loving husband and enjoyed spending his time with his daughter, Carolina, and his entire family.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Hope Hyme Cromer of Pawleys Island; his daughter, Carolina Sue Cromer; a brother, John Cromer; a sister, Anna Guilliams; and a nephew, Kirby Christopher Cromer, all of Myrtle Beach; maternal grandmother, Jean Snider of Christiansburg, Va.; and paternal stepgrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Guilliams. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Cromer.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Lee Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Lee Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends Helping Friends, P.O. Box 395, Little River, SC 29566. Lee Funeral Home & Crematory of Little River/North Myrtle Beach is serving the family.
