Eaton, Louise Riggins

Mrs. Louise Riggins Eaton, 83, of Rich Creek, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday July 9, 2006 at her home in Rich Creek. Louise was born June 28, 1923 at Bluefield, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Luther C. and Virginia D. Riggins of Bluefield, W.Va. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rich Creek, Va.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, David J. Riggins; and one daughter-in-law, Dreama G. Eaton. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Emory L. Eaton; two daughters, Carolyn E. Markle and husband, Larry of Pearisburg, Va., Brenda E. Smith and husband, Dale; two sons, Gary L. Eaton and wife, Marsha, Gregory R. Eaton and wife, Marion, all of Rich Creek, Va.; four brothers, John E. Riggins of Bellingham, W.Va., Luther C. Riggins and wife, Clara of Narrows, Va., Mason G. Riggins and wife, Helen of Dundalk, Md., and Paul S. Riggins and wife, Ann of Hyattsville, Md.; three sisters, JoAnn McGraw of Pearisburg, Va., Mary E. Webb and husband, Jim of Rich Creek, Va., Alma R. Robertson and husband, Roy of Narrows, Va.; eight grandchildren, Kim Turner of Norfolk, Va., Dina Eaton and fiance, James Craig of Elliston, Va., Jeff Smith and wife, Tammy of Rich Creek, Va., Angela M. Williams and husband, Dennis of Salem, Va., Denise E. Reynolds and husband, Tony of Pembroke, Va., April S. Luck and husband, Gerard of Roanoke, Va., Jason E. Markle and wife, Kelly of Salem, Va., and Andrew L. Eaton of Rich Creek, Va.; six greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews with a multitude of loving friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, W.Va., with the Rev. Jim Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Rich Creek, Va. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at the Funeral Home.
