Shelton, Connie Theresa

Connie Theresa Shelton, 67, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at her home in Dublin. She was a housekeeping supervisor at Virginia Tech. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Pilburn Deaner Shelton, brother, Stevie Shelton and stepfather, Whitlow Compton.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Angela Woody and Renee and J. D. Hair; sons, Sammy and Stevie Hungate; grandchildren, Austin, Kayla, Ciara and Shiane Hungate, Sloan Link and James and Josslyn Hair; mother, Frances Atkins Compton; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Bill Smith; brother, Ronnie Atkins; special son-in-law, J. R. Link; and special friends, Cindy Moser, Candy Akers and Alicia Umberto.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2 p.m.
