Liz expected her life to turn out one way. She thought she would be finished with her education after completing her Bachelor’s degree in English at Longwood College. She thought she would be a high school teacher and reside in rural South-Central Virginia, where she grew up. She did NOT think that she would go to graduate school or be involved in higher education as a career, or marry, or have children, or grandchildren, or great-grandchildren. She found that life may be very different than what you expect. Liz lived a full and purposeful life and will be sorely missed.
