Hale, Lois Irene

Lois Irene Hale, 71 of Narrows went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 29th, 2006 at her home. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on June 13th, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Franklin Dennis and Nellie Mae Morris Gray. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Hale; a daughter, Linda Sue Tawney; and a son, Danny Ray Hale.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathy and Raymond Robertson of Narrows, Rebecca and Robert Sippel of Folsom, California, Dinah and David Belcher of Naples, Florida; one son, Randy and Eike Hale of Catawba; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda and John Riley of Narrows, and Betty Ballard of Narrows; one brother, John and Kay Gray of Logansport, Indiana; and special friends Violet Ould and Florence Robertson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 3rd, 2006 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows with Rev. Aubrey Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service Sunday from 6-8 PM.
